Recording & Privacy Agreement
Tarot as a Threshold
Effective date: September 1, 2026
Live class date: October 8, 2026
Recording available until November 9, 2026
This Recording & Privacy Agreement explains how the live Tarot as a Threshold class will be recorded, how the recording will be shared, and how participants can protect their privacy while attending.
Please review this agreement before registering.
1. The Class Will Be Recorded
Tarot as a Threshold is a live educational class presented through Zoom by Thresholds of Self and its facilitators.
The recording may capture:
The facilitators’ cameras, voices, and teaching
The presentation and shared screen
Participant display names
Participants who choose to appear on camera
Participants who choose to speak
Chat messages or reactions that appear on the recorded screen
Questions, comments, or other contributions made in the main Zoom room
Zoom will display a recording notification when recording begins or when a participant enters a session already being recorded. Participants may be asked to consent through Zoom before remaining in the recorded session.
2. Participation and Privacy Choices
Participants are not required to appear on camera, speak, contribute through chat, or share personal information.
You may:
Keep your camera off
Remain muted
Use your first name, initials, or another non-identifying Zoom display name
Reflect privately rather than participate aloud
Decline an invitation to share
Leave the Zoom session if you do not wish to remain in a recorded environment
Watch the participant recording later instead of attending live
Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information or identifiable information about another person.
If you use your camera, microphone, display name, reactions, or public chat, those contributions may be captured in the recording.
3. Participant Replay
Registered purchasers will receive access to a participant replay within approximately 48 hours after the live class.
Replay access will remain available for 30 days from the date it is delivered. After the access period ends, the replay link will be disabled or removed from participant access.
The replay will be provided through a password-protected or otherwise access-controlled link. Access is limited to registered purchasers.
Participants may not:
Copy or download the recording
Make a separate audio, video, or screen recording
Share the access link or password
Post any portion of the recording publicly
Distribute the recording or class materials to another person
Reproduce or use another participant’s contribution without permission
4. Editing and Participant Contributions
The facilitators may pause, trim, or edit the participant replay to address:
Accidental personal disclosures
Technical interruptions
Private or sensitive material
Content unrelated to the class
Material considered inappropriate for distribution
Reasonable care will be taken when preparing the replay. Participants should still use the available privacy choices because complete removal of every incidental appearance or contribution cannot be guaranteed.
If you believe you disclosed something during the class that should not appear in the participant replay, contact hello@thresholdsofself.com as soon as possible. Requests will be reviewed, and reasonable efforts will be made to address the concern before or after the replay is released.
5. Chat Messages
Public chat messages may appear if the chat panel or notification is visible on the recorded screen.
Private messages will not be intentionally included in the replay. Zoom communications should not be treated as completely confidential.
6. Future Recording-Only Class
Thresholds of Self may later create and sell an edited, teaching-focused version of Tarot as a Threshold.
The future recording-only product may include:
Facilitator instruction
Presentation slides
Guided practices
Demonstrations
Reflective prompts
Educational portions of the October 8, 2026 class
Identifiable participant images, voices, display names, questions, comments, chat messages, or personal contributions will be removed or anonymized before inclusion in a separately sold version unless the participant provides additional written permission.
Registering for or attending the live class does not grant permission for an identifiable participant contribution to be used in advertising, testimonials, or a separately sold product.
7. Storage and Access
The original recording and edited files may be stored by Thresholds of Self in Zoom, password-protected cloud storage, secure local storage, and backup storage.
Access will be limited to the facilitators and individuals who need access to prepare, host, administer, protect, or edit the class recording.
The participant replay will expire after the stated 30-day access period. An archival master may be retained for editing, record keeping, protection of intellectual property, or development of the future recording-only class.
8. Educational Scope
Tarot as a Threshold is an educational and reflective class. It is not psychotherapy, group therapy, crisis support, diagnosis, treatment, or individualized professional advice.
Participants are responsible for deciding what they wish to share and how they wish to participate in the recorded environment.
The facilitators are responsible for providing notice, using reasonable privacy safeguards, moderating the class, and preparing the replay in accordance with this agreement.
